Indent Guides

Indent guides are another nice feature that improve the usability of Roar. They are useful for maintaining consistent alignment of blocks of code. Indent guides are shown inline in the source code as shown in the figure below:

 

        

 

There are several ways to turn on the display of indent guides in Roar:

 

  1. Temporarily via the Show indent guides option in the View menu

  2. Temporarily via the Display indent guides button in the bottom toolbar

  3. Permanently via the Indent guides option in the Options tab of the File Types tab in the Settings dialog
