The Templates menu contains tools for working with templates. For more information on templates refer to the Working with templates topic.
The following figure displays the Templates menu. Mouse over any of the menu items for a brief description.

Allows the user to load and execute a template from disk. |

Allows the user to execute any of the built-in template functions that are used to insert special sequences into the active document. For information on the built-in template functions refer to the Template functions reference topic. |

This feature is used when writing template files to allow the user to insert calls to built-in template functions. |

A list of template files displayed in the Templates menu. Templates may be added or removed from this list from the Templates tab of the Settings dialog. |
