Settings Dialog: Key Bindings

The Key Bindings dialog allows the user to configure key bindings used by the application.

Description

Key Binding List

The Key Binding list is used to display the list of bindings that are currently set in the application.

Key Sequence

The Key Sequence field is used to map a Composer function with a key sequence.

Add button

The Add Button adds a new key binding sequence to the list of bindings.

Update Button

The Update Button updates the setting for a key binding that already exists.

Remove Button

The Remove Button removes an existing key binding.

Default Button

The Default Button updates the key binding to its default value.

Available Function List

The function list displays a list of all the built-in features of the Composer that may be mapped or bound to keyboard sequences.

Control

Ok Button

The Ok button is used to save the current settings, close the dialog, and return to the application.

Cancel Button

The Cancel button closes the dialog and returns the user to the application without saving preferences.
