Dialogs

In addition to the main application environment, Code Roar is built up of many dialogs that allow the user to perform many tasks. The table below provides a reference to all the dialogs in Code Roar.

Add New Type

The Add New Type Dialog is displayed when configuring a new file type.

Convert Tabs

The Convert Tabs Dialog allows the user to convert existing tabs into spaces or the reverse operation.

Enumerate Text

The Enumerate Text Dialog is a specialty operation that gives the user the ability to enumerate textual lists

Find First

The Find First dialog is identical to the Find Dialog, the only difference being that the search begins from the start of the document instead of the current position

Find in Files

The Find in Files dialog allows the user to search for a particular pattern across multiple files.

Go to Column

The Go to Column dialog allows the user to navigate to a particular column number on the active line.

Go to Line

The Go to Line dialog allows the user to navigate to a particular line number in the current document.

Insert ASCII

The Insert ASCII dialog allows the user to insert special ASCII characters that are not available from the keyboard.

Execute Template Function

The Execute Template Extensions dialog allows the user to control the display of template functions in the menu list and to execute a template function within the current file.

Insert Template Function

The Insert Template Function dialog is used to insert a template function at the current insertion point in the active document.

Managing Favorites

The Manage Favorites dialog allows the user to manage the availability and ordering of favorite files displayed in the favorites menu.

New File Dialog

The New File dialog allows the user to create a new file.

Print

The Print Document dialog is displayed when the user chooses to print the current document.

Find

The Find dialog allows the user to search the contents of the active document for a particular string.

Search and Replace

The Search and Replace dialog allows the user to search the contents of the active document for a particular string and replace that string with a new value.

Select Document

The Select Document dialog provides a secondary method of accessing open files.

Settings

The Settings dialog allows the user to configure most of Code Roar's settings
